JKDCC calls upon Hon'ble Health Minster | KNO

Jammu 31 January: Jammu & Kashmir Doctors Coordination Committee (JKDCC) today met Hon’ble Health Minister Mr Bali Bhagat at Jammu and apprised him about the various issues faced by the doctors of state and pending genuine demands. The minister gave a patient hearing to the association and assured full cooperation in resolving all the genuine demands . The Hon'ble Minster marked and forwarded the file regarding “caderisation” of medical officers , dental surgeons and consultants to concerned authorities and assured that issue will be addressed on priority . Meanwhile pay anomaly and discrepancies were also discussed and JKDCC members are going to meet Finance Minster by tomorrow to get issue addressed. It,s pertinent to mention that JKDCC is an amalgam of various association of doctors of the state which includes Doctors Association Kashmir(DAK), Doctors Association Jammu(DAJ), Resident Doctors Association(RDA)Government Medical College(GMC)Srinagar,RDA GMC Jammu, Society of Consultant Doctors(SCD),Society of Dental Surgeons(SDS),National Health Mission(NHM) and Private Practitioners. Dr Manjeet Singh and Dr Mir Mushtaq Spokespersons of JKDCC thanks the Hon’ble Health Minister and expects that issues will be resolved in a time bound manner as promised.
